Why are racist organizations allowed in Sweden?

On 12 November in Aula Magna at Uppsala University a roundtable was hosted by Forum for Africa Studies and Upsala Nya Tidning. Some 400 people came to listen to this engaged discussion on a burning topic.

Invited Speakers were Ingrid Helmius, Senior Lecturer in Law at Uppsala University, Mohamed Hassan, Kommunalråd (L), Uppsala municipality, Maureen Hoppers, Communication on Integration & Multiculturalism, Axfoundation, Helene Lööw, Associate Prof in Historia, Uppsala University, Peter Nobel, PhD in Law, former Secretary General of Swedish Red Croos, and Discrimination Ombudsman, and Evin Ismael, Editorialist Arbetet, PhD Candidate in Sociology, Uppsala University.

The panel was moderated by Sten Hagberg, Professor in Cultural Anthropology, and Maria Ripenberg, Editorialist at UNT.
